Kang Na Eon transforms into a high school student in Lee Min Ki and Lee Bo Young's upcoming K-drama

Kang Na Eon's first K-drama project for 2025 will be Mary Kills People.

On July 18, it was officially confirmed that Kang Na Eon will be one of the supporting roles of the upcoming K-drama Mary Kills People. She will work alongside main leads Lee Bo Young, Lee Min Ki, Kang Ki Young, Baek Hyun Jin, and Kwon Hae Hyo.

Kang Na Eon's agency confirmed the news, adding that the actress is ready to showcase a new side of her acting. She's committed to convincingly portraying her character's pain and transformation.

Mary Kills People tells the story of a doctor who illegally helps terminally ill patients with euthanasia. The story will be depicted from the popular 2017 Canadian series of the same name.

The upcoming K-drama will be the joint work of director Park Joon Woo (Crash, Taxi Driver, and Doctor Detective) and writer Lee Su A (Venus Talk and Unemployed Romance). 

Kang Na Eon will portray the role of a high school student named Woo Mi. 

Marry Kills People will begin airing on August 1. It will be part of MBC's Friday and Saturday K-drama timeslot. The K-drama will have a total of 12 episodes. 

Kang Na Eon made her acting debut in 2022. She was part of the K-dramas Blind, Crash Course in Romance, Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938, Wedding Impossible, and more. 

She is best known for being part of the hit TVING K-drama Pyramid Game with WJSN's Bo Na, Jang Da A, Ryu Da In, Jung Ha Dam, and Ha Yul Ri. 

Last year, Kang Na Eon led the K-drama Social Savvy Class 101 with Kim Woo Seok, Son Dong Pyo, Choi Geon, Han Chae Rin, and Hwang Ji A.
