KBS unveils teaser for upcoming action hero series Twelve.

Twelve is an action K-drama about 12 zodiac angels living in human form to protect humanity, battling against evil. 

The teaser begins with Tae San (Ma Dong Seok), the leader of the 12 angels, making a grand entry. Since the beginning of time, the 12 angels have lived in human form to protect humanity. Long ago, they fought a battle against forces of evil that sought to shroud the world in darkness. Although they managed to barely seal the Gates of Hell — the source of darkness — they lost four angels in the process and had their special powers sealed away.

Wounded by the loss of their comrades, Tae San and the remaining seven angels have been living quietly among humans. However, when Priest Sa Min (Kim Chan Hyeong) awakens O Gwi (Park Hyung Sik), a being with immense power, darkness begins to spread across the world once again.

Priest Sa Min unveils his intentions: "I will now turn the world into hell and transform all humans into demons."

Tae San, who had vowed never to intervene in human affairs again, along with the other angels — Won Seung (Seo In Guk), Mir (Lee Joo Bin), Doni (Ko Kyu Pil), Kang Ji (Kang Mi Na), Jwi Dol (Sung Yoo Bin), Mal Suk (Ahn Ji Hye), and Bang Ul (Regina Lei) — whose powers have been sealed, begin to doubt whether they are capable of facing O Gwi. 

However, Marok (Sung Dong Il), the overseer of the 12 angels, encourages Tae San and the others by reminding them, "The reason we exist is to help humans." 

Will Tae San and his team succeed in defeating O Gwi?

Twelve will premiere on Disney+ (select regions) on August 23 and will air a total of eight episodes. Watch the teaser here.
