Choi Jin Hyuk and Oh Yeon Seo are confirmed to star together in 'Positively Yours'

Choi Jin Hyuk and Oh Yeon Seo are starring together in the upcoming K-drama version of Positively Yours.

On July 14, it was officially confirmed that Choi Jin Hyuk and Oh Yeon Seo are the main leads of the webtoon-based K-drama Positively Yours. Channel A will be broadcasting the K-drama. 

Positively Yours will depict the story of a woman who becomes pregnant after a one-night affair with a stranger. The father's baby happened to be the company's CEO, and he demanded that she marry him. The story will be adapted from the webtoon of the same name. Instead of the school setting of the original webtoon, the K-drama will utilize a large company setting to tell a more colorful story. 

The upcoming K-drama will be penned by writer So Hae Won. 

According to reports, Positively Yours will officially premiere in the first half of next year. 

Choi Jin Hyuk will play the role of Kang Doo Joon, a second-generation conglomerate who is perfect from head to toe. He was ready to dedicate his life to his family and company on behalf of his late brother. However, a chance encounter with a woman led to an unexpected pregnancy.

This is the follow-up K-drama project of Choi Jin Hyuk after the 2024 series Miss Night and Day with APINK's Jung Eun Ji, Lee Jung Eun, Baek Seo Hoo, Yoon Byung Hee, and Moon Ye Won. 

Oh Yeon Seo, on the other hand, will give life to the character named Jang Hee Won. She has given up on the idea of marriage and pregnancy. She worked day and night, even on weekends, and with this hard work, she was promoted rapidly in the company. However, after a one-night affair, she became pregnant and later realized that the father of the baby was the CEO of the company, Kang Doo Joon.

This year, Oh Yeon Seo is set to lead the upcoming K-drama Mean Love alongside Lee Jung Jae, Im Ji Yeon, Kim Ji Hoon, Seo Ji Hye, and Kim Hyun Jin.
